This valve can be controlled flow rate small to full flow by V shape ball.

●It does not have a ball seat at the down stream side. So  It's suitabe for powder service, because can be flown  smoothly.                                                              

●With the edge of V-ball and metal seat, it protect to bite  some fiber and others.  

●At the time of full open, it will be full flow and get big CV value. So can be select smaller size compare with globe valve, and realized compact size/cost down.
