Unwanted materials such as algae, shellfish, and dust mixed in seawater are removed with a punching metal strainer so that they do not flow into the plate heat exchanger and prevent blockage of the plate channels. By switching the channel inside the filter element with a butterfly valve, unwanted material is discharged by backwashing the seawater.

• - Backwash is automatically performed with the fluid pressure difference and timer settings.
• - Cleaning is quite simple by switching the butterfly valve even during operation.
• - Since cylindrical punching metal is used, the strainer has a large area.
• - Do not need to perform disassembly cleaning of the punching metal, or to remove the main piping.

Anti-fouling measures :
Hot water anti-fouling system

The hot water anti-fouling system circulates hot water through the seawater line of the plate heat exchanger kill and remove fungi and young shellfish, and to perform antifouling on the surfaces of the plates.
