HISAKA Glossary (for Heat Exchangers)

This is a glossary of terms that are found in
drawings and catalogs when using your HISAKA product.

E
Earth lug Bracket for mounting a ground wire
E. frame Frame that is suspended from the upper guide bar and fastened to the S. frame using tightening bolts to maintain pressure inside the equipment.
It can be moved along the upper guide bar while performing maintenance.		 Click here for details
E. frame roller A part used to suspend the E. frame from the upper guide bar
E gasket Installed to the E-Plate port hole.
Element Heat transfer plate arrangement
Alternative name: Plate pack

End tube Piping with flange connection for installation on a stud type frame
E. nozzle Nozzle installed on the E. frame
E. nozzle gasket The gasket for E-frame.
E plate Last heat transfer plate between the S, L, C, and E-Frame.
